October 26th, 6-9pm: Eclairs & Cream Puffs: The new pastry craze straight from France is "Pâte a Choux"! Known to some of you as “choux pastry”, they are a family of dessert, big and small puffs, all made with the same dough base, which we call “Pâte a Choux”, prounced “shoo.”
November 5th, 6-9pm: Cooking Demo & Dinner- Fall Flare: This event is all about celebrating fall! Comfort food with seasonal ingredients. Watch a cooking demonstration of all the dishes and sit in our restaurant to relax and enjoy your dinner with wine! Recipes demonstrated: Butternut Squash Crispy Filo Ravioli (hands on), Veal in Cream Sauce (Blanquette de Veau), Spiced Poached Pears.
November 16th, 6-9pm: The Best Fall Pies: In this class, we will see how to make easily 3 different pies, fall flavored, and you’ll get your try at rolling dough and preparing your own apple pie to take home! Here is what we will cover: Demonstration of how to make the best pie dough from scratch, Demonstration of Pecan Pie, Make your own Apple Pie with Lattice Top, Make an easy Pear Tarte Fine with puff pastry. You will be served a glass of wine during the class and you get to taste everything that is made during the class and take home your own Apple Pie and any leftover.

Tartine & Maple offers intimate cooking classes designed to enhance your skills in the kitchen while learning new recipes and discovering the secrets of French cooking. We will demystify for you the myth of fancy French food! Courses are created and taught by Valentine, a passionate home cook who has learnt her tricks from her chef of a father, in the French Champagne vineyard countryside and graduated from Vatel Institute of Hospitality Management, in Paris. Now a full-time baker at The Uncommon Cafe in Vancouver, she would like to share her knowledge and skills with you by teaching easy and delicious meals you can easily re-create at home.
